  • Our large car park is all on one level, with a slight incline. 
  • Disabled bays are at the south side of the hotel.  If they are all taken, please ask at reception and assistance will be given to organise alternative parking. 
  • There is ramped access from the car park to the south entrance. 
  • There is a revolving door, but a single opening door to the side of this.   
  • There is a doorbell if assistance is required, which goes through to reception, assistance is available 24 hours. 

  • The Reception desk has a low level for guests using wheelchairs to complete their registration card. 
  • Porter service is available to assist guests with their luggage. 
  • There are 2 lifts with Braille buttons connecting to the floors, one goes to G, 1, 2 and 3.  One goes to all 4 floors. 
  • Corridors are well lit and have good colour contrast.

  • There are over 150 bedrooms accessed without any steps, 4 of which are specifically adapted for wheelchair use. 
  • All rooms have direct dial telephones. 
  • There are wet rooms and en-suite facilities. 
  • Room service is available 24 hours a day. 
  • The fire alarm is audio only however vibrating deaf-guard systems are available for use from reception and our hotel evacuation plan includes personal evacuation plans which are discussed with guests on check in who need additional support in the event of an evacuation. 
  • There is a hearing loop at reception.

  • Restaurant and Bars are on the ground floor.  
  • The Bar may be too high for those in a wheelchair, but table service is offered. 
  • There are accessible toilets on the ground floor.

  • Most dietary requirements can be catered for, we do appreciate prior arrangement. 
  • Most chairs are non-fixed in the Restaurant, some are designed with arm rests. 
  • There is a portable ramp available for guests who wish to be seated in the window area of the restaurant 
  • Assistance is offered from the buffet for breakfast. 
  • Large print menus are available upon request. 
  • Our treatment beds can be lowered to help people with limited movement. 

  • All function space is accessible with most rooms on the ground floor. 
  • The Princess Suite can be accessed by the lift 
  • The Imperial Suites on the lower ground floor can be accessed by a lift through an escorted route, accompanied by one of the team.

  • Assistance dogs are welcomed into the Hotel.
